Description

A government department in Canberra is seeking the services of Senior SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) Specialist to support it with the ongoing projects, maintenance and enhancement of the SDO HCM footprint in the cloud. As an experienced SAP HCM Consultant, a successful candidate will work as part of a project team and be responsible for delivering day-to-day project activities and outcomes.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 5 years SAP HR consulting experience with expertise in the configuration of Organizational Management, Personnel Administration, E-Recruitment, Time Management, ESS and MSS, Reporting, LSO solutions;
  • Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and design
  • Ability to deliver business requirements using standard SAP functionality
  • Ability to rigorously test system solutions with real business scenarios
  • Ability to work in a continually changing environment
  • Ability to adapt and apply existing techniques and methodologies
  • Be familiar with programme and project management techniques and processes
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Master Data Management skills, including the ability to implement OM changes to support Organisational Restructures
  • Experience with the use and configuration of SAP LSMW tool
  • Experience in providing Functional Specifications to Technical team for any Customized developments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both business users and developers
  • Experience in mentoring junior members of the SAP support team
  • Experience in developing and maintaining documentation to support OM, PA and LSO developments
  • Participation in the planning and execution of SAP support packs and upgrades
  • Exceptional organizational & time management skills; Provide status reports on activities and tasks
  • Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder coordination and interpersonal skills
  • Strong demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to write technical documentation; Maintain functional documentation in Solution Manager; Writing test scripts in HPQC
  • Demonstrated ability to work to meet exacting deadlines while maintaining quality; and
  • Track record of delivering successful projects
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work in a team environment, understand and be responsive to project and customer needs
  • Ability to adapt and function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment while working under deadlines

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experienced in information system life cycle methodologies
  • Extensive knowledge of integration of SAP with SuccessFactors modules
  • Australian Public Sector Industry preference where client having SAP HR installed
  • Working with a multicultural team.

The role requires the candidate to be an Australian Citizen and hold Baseline clearance prior to commencement.
