One of our leading renewable energy clients are looking for MV/HV Managers out there to start on the 12th November 2018 or thereabouts. The role would involve working on one of their offshore wind farm projects in the North East of the country.This role will be for an initial 24 months up until 15th November 2020 with the possibility of a further extension. The MV/HV Manager will be responsible for looking after the generator bays for their new wind farm. We are looking for an individual who has done a similar role in the past. You will have also carried out work as a representative for Back Office engineers on an onshore substation construction site, have experience with grid connections and generator bays/National Grid substations, and a good knowledge of HV components.
This is a freelance position hour of work will be 5 days a week, 8 hrs a day, travelling should also be expected 5 - 10 days per month should be expected. This role would also suit a good technically skilled project engineer.
