Solution Architect ICT Infrastructure, BRUSSELS
Position
You are responsible for the definition and elaboration of the infrastructure architecture supporting ICT systems and business applications;
You work together with the architects and analysts of the business and application teams
to coordinate the application architecture and the ICT infrastructure of the company;
You work together with Security Office to ensure the security of the ICT environment of the company
You work out technical projects within ICT Operations for the management of infrastructure
systems such as Servers, networks, databases, storage, security controls, telemetry,
optical fiber and the like;
You manage the technical standards and are responsible for the configuration database;
You follow technical evolutions and provide the necessary knowledge within ICT Operations
the management of the existing infrastructure, future developments and the development
of projects;
You contribute to the daily optimal functioning of the ICT infrastructure with respect
for SLA agreements and you support the ICT management processes.
Profile
You have an engineering or licentiate degree with specialization Computer Science, or equivalent
Experience
You have several years of experience with centralized ICT systems as an architect for ICT
infrastructure, or a similar function;
You are an ICT generalist with a broad knowledge and interest in:
Server technology (Linux and Windows Servers)
Networks and Firewalls
SAN and NAS storage
Virtualization (VMWare)
Cloud solutions (Azure);
You are familiar with life cycle management and the rollout of applications in an ICT surroundings;
You are capable of contact and able to guide different teams and activities
coordinate;
You are analytical and work methodically and conscientiously;
You are a good communicator and team player;
You have a good knowledge of Dutch, French and English
