Currently Templeton & Partners is looking for an Experienced Citrix Engineer to join one of our international clients for a position in Rijswijk, The Netherlands of 6 months with option of extension.
The Task
Templeton & Partners is looking for a strong communicative Experienced Citrix Engineer primarily responsible for managing and documenting the systems and you are together with the team responsible for the optimal accessibility of the systems. You carry out proactive monitoring and preventive management on the Citrix Systems. You keep colleagues informed about the handling of incidents, new releases and test plans.
Some of your key activities will include:
- Proactively monitoring the server park using monitoring tools;
- Partly responsible for implementing and further professionalizing the Citrix/Windows/VMware environment;
- Installation and Configuration of Servers;
- Providing 2nd and 3rd line support;
- Making documentation, including: validation of documents, work instructions, standard
- operating procedures according to the guidelines;
- You are a specialist in our infrastructure projects when it comes to Citrix, RES Workspace
- Manager and application virtualization
- Planning changes.
Our client is looking for you to have experience and skills in:
- You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience with Citrix solutions;
- You have at least one Citrix certifications, for example: CCEE, CCP-AD, CCE-AD;
- You have experience with RES Workspace Manager
- You have experience with project-based work according to Prince 2 and ITIL;
- You are enterprising, flexible, decisive and friendly and you have good communication skills.
Preferred skills our clients are looking for:
- Preferably experience with RES Automation Manager;
- MCSA 2012 certified (or MCITP 2008 Enterprise Administrator);
