About The Company
My client, based in the ROI, are one of the leading network, telecommunications and mobile technology companies in the UK. They looking for an experienced IP Design Engineer to join their team and focus on their managed network services portfolio.
About The Role
You will be based in their Dublin, ROI full time (Mon-Fri) on the core hours of 8:00am - 17:00pm with occasion travel to their other sites in ROI. You get to will work in a wide-ranging, project-focused role. Which encompasses requirements analysis, solution development, detailed network design, implementation, operations and optimisation.
Skills & Experience Needed
- CCNP or CCIE certification or equivalent is a bonus
- Telecoms experience required
- Practical experience of common routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF and ISIS in a managed network environment
- Familiarity with MPLS technologies (both Layer 2 and Layer 3 VPN)
- Multi-vendor experience is a bonus (Cisco, Juniper, FortiNet and F5)
- LAN and WiFi technology experience a bonus
