Due to a short-term staff shortage, we are looking for our customer project in the north of Munich a network security engineer (m/w/d).

Your tasks

• International technical support focusing on the configuration and maintenance of Palo Alto & CISCO firewalls (ASA)
• Active elimination of weak points and optimization of international network connections, especially with emphasis on security-related topics
• Ensuring the continuous operation of the network environment in the security-sensitive data environment
• Prepare documentation of changes in accordance to the given client standard

Your skills

• Ability to understand and recommend state network security and firewall technology in accordance to company standards
• Ability to identify and recommend necessary improvement to ensure security compliance
• Good knowledge of security standards (ISO27001, OWASP, PCI-DSS)
• Good knowledge of application security standards as TSS-Web
• Knowledge of security scanning tools (vulnerability, SIEM)
• Knowledge of TCP/Ip protocol
• Ability to recommend FW configurations in accordance to security standard
• Capability to prepare recommendation on any procedure/mechanism allowing automation procedure for configuration tasks
