Job Spec:
You will take on demanding tasks in the field of performance management and monitoring of our IT infrastructure, platforms and applications.
In close coordination with the team, you will be responsible for the further development and operation of the central performance management & monitoring solutions and their interfaces to third-party systems
You will be responsible for monitoring all applications, tools and backend components that we use.
You will evaluate new technologies and processes, identify optimization potentials and continuously develop our central international performance management and monitoring solutions
Participation in on-call duty 7x24
Completed studies (eg in computer science, mathematics or communications engineering) or successful technical training with sound expert knowledge in computer science, mathematics and communications engineering as well as several years of professional experience
Several years of professional experience in the field of monitoring systems (Nagios / Icinga)
Several years of professional experience in the field of Open Source Cluster Software
Several years of professional experience in the field of performance management systems (eg Citratest)
Profound knowledge of Linux system administration at administrator level
Ideally experience in project management
Expertise in the fields of network and protocol analysis and the ability to perform these independently
Know-how in script programming eg with Bash, Perl or Python
Ideally knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell
Good technical German and English, written and spoken

Automation tools (Puppet, Ansible)
