For our client a big pharmaceutical company based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a highly motivated and qualified Hematology Application Specialist
Background:
The Business Area Centralised & Point of Care Solutions establishes a new R&D team to develop the next generation of highly innovative and patient oriented Lab Hematology IVD systems for Central Lab solutions at site Rotkreuz.
In the role of the Hematology Application Specialist you are responsible for supporting development of a completely new generation of Lab Hematology system.
You are a member of our high performing R&D Hematology team and you closely collaborate with scientists, engineers and medical experts through all phases of technology development and system development. In this role you are a member of the R&D System Integration team and you have access to the broad network of CPS Global R&D.
Perfect Candidate:
We are looking for a hematology application specialist with a strong experience in hematology and cell morphology. This person needs a min. of 5 years' experience in hematology.
Ideally you would like to work 50% but it could be that the workload is set up to 100%
Tasks:
* Supporting the training process of imaging system through classification of cells
* Supporting the System Development team by conducting lab experiments and tests on specific equipment (e.g. Lab Analyzer, Hematology Systems) incl. preparation and documentation
* Supporting protocol testing
* Performing workflow analysis on Hematology Systems
* Compiling and analyzing of data
* Interface with external sites to obtain, run and evaluate samples of interest
Must Haves:
* You are experienced in cell morphology based classification of blood cells
* You are a lab technician with at least 5 years of experience in a commercial/scientific lab or in the diagnostics industry.
* Fluent in English
* You are someone who likes to help resolving technical and scientific challenges in a diverse team.
* You are someone who would like to make a major contribution to develop innovation to a level of a robust and reliable industry manufactured and commercialized product.
* You can focus on a long-term objective and you are perseverant
Nice to Haves:
* Experience in flow cytometry would be a plus
* German
