Infrastructure Engineer (SC Cleared)
Contract Duration: 3 months Initially
Location: Portsmouth
Rate: £350 per day Outside IR35
3 days per week onsite 2 from home.
An Infrastructure Engineer is required to join a well-established managed service provider that focuses on supporting government and defense projects. Due to the nature of this role, you will need to have active SC Clearance.
This position requires experience in designing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting the following technologies:
* Microsoft Azure and associated technologies, particularly Azure AD, Intune, MS Teams, and Office365
* Mobile Device Management configuration (Mac, Windows);
* Hadoop (HBASE AND HDFS etc.);
* Linux (Ubuntu 16 AND 18);
* Scripting/automation - Bash, Powershell, Ansible
* Experience with VMware, vCenter, vSphere, NSX and vSAN
* Hyper-converged infrastructure (Cisco and Dell EMC)
* Shared area networks (physical and virtual)
* Networking (VLANS, WAN, Firewalls, fibre, and Ethernet Switches)
