Description

Implementation Project Manager (System/Software Implementation) needed for an initial 6 months with our transport & travel client based in the West of Scotland.

The right candidate must have extensive demonstrable experience successfully delivering technical deployments of packaged software solutions within complex environments, including the delivery of packaged software solutions within eCommerce, Transport or Logistics environments. Previous experience implementing smart-ticket or booking system software solutions would be ideal.

Working on a Customer focussed improvement programme, you will be the Technical Delivery and Implementation lead implementing an 'off the shelf' packaged software solution and ensuring successful data migration, application integration, testing and cutover plans are met. As such, the right candidate must have experience across multiple technical disciplines and the ability knit them together.

In addition to strong technical knowledge and experience, you must have extensive Stakeholder management, Supplier management and relationship skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across every level of an organisation. You should also be used to working to tight deadlines and coordinating projects with multiple moving parts.

This role will involve remote working but there will be a requirement for onsite work when it is safe to do so, as and when needed.

Skills/Experience
*Technical Deployment and Software Implementation delivery experience, delivering multiple successful projects involving packaged software solutions.
*Experience across Multiple technical disciplines
*Experience managing Data Migration, Hardware implementation, Testing, Cutover planning (including design of approach) and software integration, including Legacy applications.
*Experience maintaining project & implementation plans including management of critical paths, resources, budgets, production of deliverables etc.
*Accurate reporting, management of risks & issues etc.
*Stakeholder Management across multiple teams & functions (including but not limited to: Operational Support, PMO, Digital & Data Teams, Programme Board etc.)
*Supplier management, including contract management, management of 3rd party delivery milestones and managing supplier relationships.
*Excellent communication skills and a consultative approach.
