Location: Oxford/Remote
Salary/Rate: £522 Per Day (Inside IR35)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The roles and responsibilities of Network Architect are as follows:
* Conduct network architecture design, feasibility and case studies.
* Design, analyse, plan, modify and optimise network components supporting customer communication implementation activities
* Propose and implement system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system
* Plan, design and implement networked systems, including configurations, and supports/troubleshoots network problems
* Develop and evaluate network performance criteria and measurement methods
* Prepare the analysis of the capacity needs for network infrastructure
* Build technical capabilities on next-gen technologies
TECHNICAL SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
Mandatory:
* Network Vitalisation using VXLAN's, OTV's and Fabric Path
* Switch Series (Cisco): Nexus 9K, 7K,5K, APIC's and Catalyst 6K,9K
* Routing Protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IS-IS
* Router Series (Cisco): ASR series 1000, 9000, 7200, 7600
* Wireless: Cisco/Aruba unified wireless architecture
* Firewall: Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Cisco FTD, Cisco FMC, checkpoint
* Load balancer: Riverbed
* SDN Technology: Cisco ACI
* SDWAN Technology: Cisco Viptela, SilverPeak
* Basic Cloud Technology ( including Hybrid Cloud Connectivity)
DESIRABLE:
* Exposure to open stack networking
* Work experience in ISE technology
* Work experience on Cisco Proxy
* Work Experience on VMware NSX-V/NSX-T
* Tools: Cisco Prime, Solarwinds, Service-Now, Spectrum, E-Health, Netflow, Wireshark
