Solutions Architect
Rates- £600.40 pay rate to the contractor per day
Candidate's required/essential experience
Understanding of Event Driven Architectures and related patterns
Very familiar with SaaS - based solutions and with Cloud best practices, with a strong preference for Azure
Contract duration - 6 months initially, with possibility of extension
Solution Architect
You'll be responsible for the delivery of the high-level architectures and solution designs for the Corporate systems. You'll establish strong relationships with stakeholders by inspiring confidence in the delivery of a portfolio of business-focused projects and initiatives. You'll follow the clients project delivery and architecture frameworks. You'll be very familiar with SaaS - based solutions and with Cloud best practices, with a strong preference for Azure. You will be leading effective conversations with Cloud and infrastructure architects, Security architects and engineering. You'll show ability to quickly address problems at the right level, from high level application architecture to detailed integration patterns.
A key part of the role will be to ensure we make progress on our key issues, while keeping solutions aligned to organization and industry standards and with other programs/projects, for which a seamless collaboration with your team and with other Architects across the client is fundamental.
What do I need?
You'll need to demonstrate that you'll be able to perform in the following areas:
Understand the problem space: delivery of solution architectures and designs for solutions through their full life cycle, while maintaining alignment with IT/industry standards and company strategy
Being recognized as a trusted adviser to business stakeholders and being able to quickly "map" the business needs to application functionality/features.
Being able to lead a project from an architecture perspective, ensuring that all decisions that are architecturally relevant can be taken following the appropriate governance (including peer review) and proactively informing the project plan in that direction
A track record of delivery in both waterfall and agile environments.
Understanding of Event Driven Architectures and related patterns.
Experience with Oracle eBusiness suite architecture would be an advantage.
Excellent communicator with ability to operate within cross functional teams
Understand a broad range of technologies, ideally including current digital technologies, Integration and Public Cloud - specifically Azure.
