Description
Jefferson Frank is searching for a AWS/Azure Architect to work with a pioneer within cloud computing, this is a 3 month contract role which is fully remote.
European candidates are welcome to apply, if candidates are based within the UK the role will fall inside of IR35.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 10 years of overall experience in IT Infrastructure.
- 3 years of demonstrable experience with cloud architecture - especially Azure, AWS (PaaS, SaaS, IaaS) in terms of configuration, sizing, performance, focus on scalability, security and integration
- LAMP background
- PaaS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and Serverless experience is a plus
- At least 1 years of demonstrable experience in architecture for large scale digital channels, working with IT Operations, Managed Hosting or Cloud Computing required
- Devops and agile principles work environment experience is a must
- Deep understanding of web, eCommerce, B2C, social and mobile applications: how they function, interact and ultimately how to protect them
- Experience in architecting Hosting infrastructure to include Enterprise Networking, Servers, Firewalls, Load Balancers, IP Connectivity and SAN Storage
- Strong understanding of security aspects of hosting infrastructure and web, eCommerce, B2B/B2C, social and mobile applications
- Strong written and verbal communications skills in English and at all levels within the organization
- Ability to write and defend technical business proposals
- Confident and refined sales acumen and the ability to exert influence appropriately
- Self-reliant and takes initiative to get things done without having to rely on others for minimal guidance
