Role responsibilities:
- Continuously improve processes and respond at pace to changes in MQS strategy
- Provide data to key stakeholders to support evidence-based decision making.
- Change Management - Ensure effective change management processes are in place to agree and document changes to deliverables as agreed with stakeholders.
- Leadership - be an inspirational leader by acting with integrity and role modelling the Civil Service values, providing visible and accessible leadership to the MQS and wider teams in the Directorate both in office and remotely.
- Accountable for quality assurance, ensuring operational efficiency, identifying early risks and resolution to delivery.
- People management - form effective relationships and networks across internal and external agencies, with skills for resolving complex issues.
- Articulating on-going and rapidly emergent issues, verbally and in writing
Essential criteria:
- Strong influencing & interpersonal skills
- Able to quickly analyse information from a range of internal and external
- Find resolutions or escalate risks and issues that have been highlighted
- Provide pragmatic solutions to problems and challenges
- Ability to review and analyse data building business cases for change
- Excellent people leadership and inclusivity skills driving real engagement, trust and respect whilst demonstrating resilience when dealing with difficult, high pressure situations at pace, demonstrating integrity & discretion.
