Job Role: IBM Mainframe IMS Systems Programmer/DBA
Contract: 6 months
Rate: Competitive, based on experience (OUTSIDE IR35)
Location: Remote, occasional midlands travel
Currently looking for an experienced Systems Programmer with experience with IMS
Our client having been through an IMS Mainframe migration are looking for a System Programmer to support post migration.
You will provide OS technical support, systems programming, taking responsible for components of complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities, so you will have had years of experience with IMS z/OS systems programming.
You will have
*Knowledge and background in IMS installation and maintenance procedures, coordination of subsystems design and integration of total system
*Strong experience in the support of IBM IMS program product
*Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
*Familiarity with DB2, CICS, Z Series Operating Systems
