We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who require a Linux Engineer for one of our Clients based in UK.
- Location: Remote
- Initial duration: 6 months
- IR35: This role is inside of IR35
Role and Task description:
- Proven track record in the building, updating and management of RedHat Enterprise Linux (Version 6 onwards)
- Knowledge of hypervisor technologies (VMware, OVM)
- Knowledge of HP and Dell Technology stacks
- Creation, management and maintaining gold images, standards, and templates
- Capability to AD Integrate Linux
- Knowledge and experience in automation technologies advantageous (Ansible would be useful)
- General understanding of Network protocols and topologies
- A proven methodical and positive approach to problem-solving
- Experience of working effectively both individually and as part of highly productive small to medium-sized teams in an Infrastructure/Application ITIL based support environment
- Experience of business-critical Real Time systems, ensuring high levels of availability through your direct actions.
- Demonstration of accountability to see issues through to successful resolutions
- Experience of producing documentation for a non-technical/technical audience
