Job Description
Role & Responsibilities
Assess customer environment and propose right cloud adoption solutions and roadmap for agile IT
Understand Business priorities and demands, convert into functional and non-functional IT requirements
Create standard solutions and reference architecture leveraging public cloud (Azure) service offering and cloud native solutions
Define criteria in terms of service levels, business and application requirements to identify right solution to meet the requirement with cost sense
Design and implement Azure Automation services for various cloud services
Responsible for Architecture, Design and implementation of DC & Hybrid Cloud technologies in an Enterprise Environment.
Develop principles and processes based on cloud strategy
Responsible for providing technical support for project team(s) during various stages in the project.
Responsible for creating business case
Responsible for planning and coordinating all the activities required to perform, monitor, and report on the process for Azure public cloud
Understanding of Sizing of Azure numerous services and creating standard service catalogue.
Design and develop of ARM, Azure VM, VNET, security group, Blob storage, Azure backup, Azure express route, Azurestack, Micro services, Containers, Windows2016 etc.
Knowledge of Ansible, python, JSON is desirable but not mandatory
Working Understanding of Azure OMS -Operation management suite
Working understanding of Azure site recovery manager
Provide appropriate inputs to the problem management process, RCA preparation
Handle conflict situations and make quick decision while driving incidents
Manage and drive third parties to the quick resolution of incidents
Responsible for planning and coordinating all the activities required to perform, monitor, and report on the process
Establish continuous process improvement cycles where the process performance, activities, roles and responsibilities, policies, procedures and supporting technology is reviewed and enhanced where applicable)
Excellent written and speaking skill
Experience (Essential)
- Understanding of the Customer Strategy and Business Requirements
- Experience in translating Business Requirements into Technical Requirements
- Experience developing High Level Design to meet Customer requirements
- Should be an expert on Cloud Computing and its various offerings like IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, containers, Automation, analytics etc.
- Ensured Traceability of requirements through design, implementation and testing phases of the project.
- Hands on experience in delivering high value System Integration projects.
- Hands on experience in Cloud Transformation Programs
Deep understanding on various aspects of technology such as;
Azure IaaS, PaaS, Analytics, containers
Hybrid Cloud Technologies
Converged & Software Defined Infrastructure
Data center & Cloud migration.
Network (LAN and WAN) & Security
Disaster Recovery/BCP
Detail and high level designing experience across multiple technologies.
Excellent ability to handle vendors (especially non IT related vendors)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings and reports at the local and senior business management level
Strong technical background in one of the core IT Infrastructure areas like Cloud/Platform)
Ability to understand and design the business resilience and Cloud strategies for customers across technology.
Deep understanding about the buildup and transformation of workloads to Azure.
Ability to perform independently consulting assessment reviews and assisting client organization with development, execution and testing of overall solution.
Intimate knowledge and understanding of the methods used in performing risk analysis and business impact analyses
Good overall understanding of IT infrastructure design, IT operations, Data center maintenance, Vendor co-ordination, Voice & Data Network setups, Application development and End User computing areas in order to review and assist in the preparation of recovery procedures in these areas
Experience in maturing independent programs and delivering them, independently.
Ability to calculate DC Power, Cooling requirements Cabling requirements based on IT infrastructure design plans
Understand the business and financial concepts clearly and can relate technology to business
