Description
Our client has a requirement from senior stakeholders to support the use of Apple macs for work Apps.
- The client it is not planned to purchase laptops, so the solution must support personally owned laptops
- The selected deployment approach is for users to enrol their personal devices into Jamf MDM, and apply the MDM policies from the existing design
- Additional requirements have also emerged for additional apps and security configuration to enable connectivity to the VPN and Office Wi-Fi
- To balance the demand to deliver a solution at the earliest time with the effort required to design and implement the new requirements, 2 releases are planned,
1- Update the existing fully managed build to support User Initiated Enrolment (UIE), test process, provide deployment guides and a minimal service wrapper
2 - Update the technical design with additional apps, security and managed network connectivity, perform full service design, training and adoption assistance - An existing company owned Jamf managed design already exists

- Configuring security to work in a mixed Apple/Windows environment - we want to connect the devices to an internal corporate network and via VPN.
- Mobile device management - products in play are Jamf and Intune - we will be applying conditional access rules. The devices may be personal or cororate provided
