Cyberteam's client currently looking for a Storage Subject Matter Expert to join our team on client's side. A great opportunity to work in an IT industry with exposure to new technologies and international environment.
Major Accountabilities
- Responsible for end-to-end management and administration of NAS management with strong Netapp backup ground
- Handling the escalations and troubleshooting critical issues.
- Reviewing the work from Operations Team and ensuring operational hygiene is maintained by the Vendors and Operations Team.
- Responsible for documentation of all the instalments using GDP.
- Configuring SAN and NAS devices to centralized monitoring system for proper monitoring.
- Providing 3rd & 4th level support and on call support when required.
- Performing the yearly review of a current infrastructure and making recommendations as needed.
- Working with Analyst and Vendors, helping them to understand the environment and requirements.
- Implementation of baseline changes, respond to change requests and incident reports.
- Perform infrastructure provisioning tasks such as deploying/configuring ESXi, maintaining SAN/NAS components;
- Monitoring Vblock components;
- End-to-end troubleshooting across all infrastructure components;
- Administrating the Vblock's components using element managers (UCS Manager, KVM Manager, vCenter, Unushered, NaviSecCli, UemCli, NXOS, DCNM);
- Writing and implementing the scripts for the environment for a SAN's daily checks and the business activity;
- Implementing the NetBackup software as a part of the external backup solution for the vBlocks by using EMC DataDomain;
- Configuration of the NetBackup clients and troubleshooting to increase the successful backup rate of the data.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of comparable working experience including University working and thinking level, degree in computer science
- Expert in Storage area, Focus on SAN/NAS technologies (mostly NAS)
- ITIL V3 knowledge and certification are beneficial
- Experienced with NA Storage installation, administration, troubleshooting, Brocade tool
- Focus on IBM Storage products: IBM TSM, IBM Storwize
- Working experience with initialization of new storage frames, firmware upgrade, support, working with storage devices (STD, BCV, RBCV, R2, SRM)
- Good understanding of all Storage administration tasks (installs, patching, system recovery, monitoring, performance/capacity reporting/analysis, network configuration, file sharing, file system, disk management, security, troubleshooting OS & application issues - performance, events, logs)
- Disaster recovery planning, implementing and management DRM
- Wide range of systems infrastructure design and implementation experience, including Wintel, UNIX and Storage
- Experience in Operating systems supported include Windows , Solaris, HPUX, IBM AIX and Linux (not exhaustive).
- Handy within Monitor Storage Environment Performance.
- Knowledge of IBM, EMC, Hitachi, Cisco, Brocade, HP and Microsoft & UNIX based technologies;
- Candidates must declare Criminal record extract not older than three months
