IT Support Technician
Umbrella company engagement only.
1st Line Support Engineer required for a well-known organisation based in Bristol.
General responsibilities:-
- Perform hardware support (Dell, Apple, AV equipment)
- Perform software support (Windows 10/macOS/any number of applications) fault diagnosis and resolution
- Place orders and liaise with suppliers.
- Coordinate equipment moves.
- Build new devices (primarily Windows, but some Mac and Linux exposure would be a benefit).
- Liaise with more senior members of the team and other teams within IT Services.
- Responsible for life cycle management of devices in the assigned areas, including:
o Arranging orders for new devices
o Redeployment of devices
o Coordinating equipment disposal via standard processes. - Develop and maintain technical documentation and Incident, Service Request and Asset records.
- Previous experience in desktop support/deployment/rollout/service desk/support etc..
