Experis has a new 3 month contract opportunity as a VMware subject matter expert.
Length: 3 months
Location: Swindon
Pay rate: £64ph/480pd
Project Scope:
This project is in support of the customers implementation of a SAP S/4HANA plus FPSL system to support its business. The customer requires detailed design and implementation of the target platform for the S/4HANA/FPSL system. The implementation is of the base infrastructure up to and including the SAP Basis Layer. HANA and Application Servers will use VMware as the hypervisor to deliver VMs. VMware Hosts (Superdome Flex 280) x 9 Implement VMs for: - Application VMs (RHEL Linux) x 35 - HANA DB Nodes (VMs) x 6 - Others (VMs) x 2. You will be required to work on site.
Core Skills:
- Strong experience in VMware design and implementation
- VMware HA Skills
- Troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work flexibly and to tight schedules
- Ideally you'll have previous experience of implementing SAP S/4 HANA or other SAP technologies
