Unified Communication expert - Freelance - Prague
Robson Bale are looking for an Unified Communication expert to come on board for an initial 6 month contract in Prague.

The role:
Help them in building their voice services based on Microsoft Teams and a certain add-on technology. We finish RFP process and already signed Letter of Intent for a pilot. The provider should deliver voice solution (incl. pilot) this year and continue in deployment in next years.
The position is dedicated for initiation of the project in this year and we plan to convert this position to internal one preferably starting next year so that we have right service owner for unified communication once the service is fully up and ready. Attached job description is focused more on daily routine when the service is fully ready while we need to focus on establishing of the service this year.
Key requirements:
- Cooperate and lead interactions with partners and service providers to deliver expected objectives
- Demonstrate strong technical expertise in design, implementation and troubleshooting following technologies: Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, Cisco UC
Content Deliver Network (CDN)
Mission:
- Design CDN solutions
- Provide consultancy to application owners and projects
- Cooperate with a partner who provides CDN to the client (Akamai is one of partners)
- Cooperate with other teams in the client to deliver end to end IT solutions for business
Responsibilities
- Design CDN solutions according business needs, test and document the solution, and handover to deployment team.
- Cooperate and lead interactions with partners and service providers to deliver expected objectives (eg Proof of Concept).
- Provide clear definition and description of the service, including related documentation, the primary use cases of the service and its business value.
- Drive service maturity and service enhancements with partners and internal colleagues.
- Manage total capacity including utilization, features, and resiliency of assigned services.
- Manage costs of the service. Be able to benchmark total and unit costs; service level & features; and risk profile (including security, resilience, scalability).
- Be accountable for demonstrating sustainable productivity in the running of your service (cost per user & TCO)
- Define a strategy that designs all aspects into your service and make sure that it is appropriate to the investment/risk trade-offs the client should make.
- Create a phased deployment roadmap (short term and long term) that plans out vision for your service. Deliver committed results relative to your roadmap.
- Report investment roadmap for the service, including deliverables over time, expected outcomes and impact to above metrics.
- Manage assets (hardware or software, people, processes ) of the service.
Work experience
- Minimum of five years' experience in IT Infrastructure is required.
- Strong overall IT work experience is required.
- Experience with networking and web applications
- Demonstrate strong technical expertise in design and implementation of CDN solutions
- Experience with creation of technical documentation (HLD, LLD, network diagrams).
- Any experience with RFI/RFP processes and documentation preparation is valuable.
