Release Train Engineer/Advanced Scrum Master
One of our major financial sector client is looking for an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE)/Advanced Scrum Master to help them deliver a leading-edge, multi-platform software application across the entirety of their global business. The main responsibilities of the RTE are to facilitate the key Agile Release Train events, processes and assist the teams in delivering value. They will also support the escalation and resolution of impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement.
The successful RTE will be an exceptional leader with a proven track record in coaching and supporting leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices.
Professional experience and personal skills profile:
- 10 plus years' experience of working in a Project Environment
- 7 plus years' experience of Agile delivery
- 5 plus year's experience of delivering ARTs or as an experienced Scrum master within an ART
- Excellent knowledge of Agile and Scrum, in a multi-team environment
- Experience of working with in-house and outsource software development providers, as part of Scrum teams
- Extensive experience in a financial sector systems
- To be adaptable and add value whilst the business grows before, during and after its Transformation to a scaled Agile model and support the increase of its Agile Maturity
- Listen and support teams in problem identification and decision-making
- Understand and empathize with others
- Support the teams' commitments
- Be open and appreciate openness in others
- Ability to transparently explain and communicate delivery problems and issues, impact and remedial plan to senior leadership
