Job Title: Azure Platform Engineer
Job Location: Sunbury, UK
Job Type: Contract
The Responsibilities/required skills are as follows:
Senior Platform Engineer (Azure) key requirements:
- Proven Enterprise Senior level experience with Azure environment operations including deployment of infrastructure, services, containers, capacity planning, networking, management, and security.
- This will include execution within existing enterprise policies, security requirements, network restrictions, and architecture design guidelines
- Practical experience with command line tools and manual setup is essential
- Should have High level Terraform and ARM expertise.
- Automation and CI/CD Pipeline.
- Scripting experience related to Azure deployment operations.
- Very strong Code as Infrastructure experience including Kubernetes.
- Strong experience in Microservice Architecture/Infrastructure operational experience.
- Troubleshooting fundamental services while providing complex issue resolutions are a key skill set.
- Proven capability to work within a collaborative team environment and a have a strong can-do attitude.
- A willingness to learn and bring new ideas while incorporating existing standards.
This person needs to thrive on facing new challenges and delivering quality solutions in short timelines.
