Azure Cloud Architect
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Azure cloud architect to join a leading financial services organisation for an initial 6 months contract. The role will be based in London.
This role is inside IR35 so please bear this in mind when applying
Your experience and skills
You are:
- focused on quality

- comfortable working independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Your expertise:
- Microsoft Azure cloud platform
- Spark/DataBricks/Big Data experience highly desirable
- Confidence in architecting applications around cloud PaaS services
- Background in development using a major language such as Java, C#, JavaScript a benefit
- CI/CD including tools such as Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, TeamCity etc.
- Containers and container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
- Infrastructure-as-code, using tools such as Terraform, ARM or CloudFormation
- Scripting languages including Windows PowerShell, Bash etc.
- Github or similar, contributing to open source projects
- Agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban)
- DevOps practices and the value of automation
