Infrastructure Architect (Azure/Office 365/Cloud)
PLEASE NOTE: This initial 6 month contract will fall inside IR35.
The successful candidate will deliver designs for many areas of the business, working closely with an internal programme Team, Infrastructure and Solutions Teams and other areas of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret business requirements, either directly with stakeholders or in collaboration with business analyst
- Understand the as-is architecture
- Present options (in plain English) and assist stakeholders select the appropriate one.
- Evaluate options for configuration settings and add-in modules
- Provide designs for integrations to existing systems
- Assist in key policy decisions from technical viewpoint, such as data residency
- Provide technical conduit between delivery team and technical areas in IT (eg networks)
- Define the detailed designs and transition roadmaps
Required Skills/Experience:
- Experience of developing cloud-hosted solutions and their associated security
- An ability to identify and own technical challenges and lead efforts to overcome these
- Experience of project delivery cycles and methodologies such as Agile.
- Understanding of quality by design
- Experience of working with external suppliers, including offshore development team.
Technology Experience:
- Microsoft Windows (Desktop and Server), Azure, SharePoint Online, Office 365, Cloud/SaaS
