PHP Developer - Outside IR35 - Fully Remote - 6/8 Weeks - Start ASAP - Up to £400 per day
Our client is a top SAAS product supplier within the public sector sphere. We are looking for a great PHP dev to work on projects that span exciting new technologies, systems and processes where you will design, test and ship great code every, single week. You'll be a part of a small, agile team and play a critical role in a brand new delivery.
You will:

Work with different systems, technologies and processes to own and solve problems from end-to-end

Collaborate with other stakeholders across the business to build new features/concepts for internal and external users

Be able to create an innovative solution for various use cases/user pain points'

Improve existing functionality
-
Identify bugs and implement fixes
-
Implement new features as defined on our product roadmap

Uphold high code standards that can be built on/understood by other engineers whilst maintaining scalability, security and resilience

Setup/maintain integrations with third-party applications

Manage deployments in a best-practice manner to ensure minimal downtime
We're looking for someone who has:

The ability to thrive in an environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts

Pride in working on projects to successful completion using a variety of different technologies and systems

The desire to learn about new systems and how they synergise with one another

Experience working on both the Front End and Back End of an application

Worked on a B2B web application before. Our business is our application and that's why we're so passionate about it

Experience delivering high quality SaaS solutions
Tech Skills:
Back End experience:

Modern PHP 7 MVC frameworks (we use Symfony 4)

Relational databases (we use MySQL)

Full-text search engines (we use Sphinx)
Front End experience:

HTML5/CSS3/JS

CSS Pre-processors (we use Sass)

Familiarity with Bootstrap and jQuery
Third-party integrations:

SOAP/RESTful API methodologies

Creation of APIs for both internal and external systems
Development tools experience

Source code management tools (we use git)

Familiarity with Front End build systems (we use webpack)
