Engineering Architect SC Cleared
Skills: Azure, Architecture, SC Clearance
Remote with some travel to client site when required

A global organisation delivering in to high profile organisations with the latest technology solutions is currently seeking a Engineering Architect to join their team on a contract basis.

The ideal consultant will have following skills:

*Previous experience of successfully leading the technical delivery of solution designs, based on complex systems that include multiple hardware and software components supplied by different teams
*Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the capture of architectures, designs, frameworks and requirements in engineering tools and other documentation
*Documented knowledge and skills in the common design frameworks (eg TOGAF)
*Domain knowledge in:
- Cloud hosted System design on and migration to Microsoft Azure:
Azure Networking
Azure Data Factory and Pipelines
Azure Devops
Use of Azure Key Vault for storage and retrieval of secrets
Azure Databricks

-Information systems, including:
Data architecture, processing, storage and retrieval
Interfaces to third party reporting, analytics and visualisation web applications such as Power BI and Grafana
Service layer architectures
High performance computing
Monitoring and Logging Solutions

-Security architecture and design
Azure Security Centre
Compliance with Information Governance standards in relation to PII, GDPR etc

The main responsibilities will include:
*Leading Development and Maintenance of Systems Architectures in line with product roadmaps and frameworks
*Contributing to the development of solution architectures, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external and internal stakeholders
*Working with Engineering Managers and Technical Authorities to promote and maintain control and discipline around engineering processes and procedures
*Working to deliver the solution with other disciplines including project managers, business analysts, technical authorities, developers, testers and support staff
*Owning technical risks and working to reduce and mitigate them at the earliest practical opportunity
