Lead Solution Architect - API - Software - Contract - INSIDE IR35
My client, an international media house, are looking for an experienced Lead Solution Architect to join them on an initial 6 months contract on a remote basis.
You will work with multiple parties to design, develop, implement and then transition a best of breed software architecture for the next iteration of our Platform. A substantial part of your focus will be on facilitating strong and consistent API and component level design across technical teams, working closely with technical leads to incorporate their ideas and build strong alignment.
- Extensive experience of working in cross-functional technical teams and the delivery of scalable, robust digital products
- Experience of architectural frameworks, tools, patterns and the production of associated artefacts to support the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Hands-on Software Engineering background with knowledge of multiple technologies, development languages and practises. including:
- Web architecture and protocols (HTTP, DNS etc).
- HTML, HTML5, mainstream CSS frameworks, Javascript, client frameworks such as React/Redux.
- Common Node based web application frameworks.
- Design patterns appropriate to development of high-quality web applications.
- Modern RDBMS and no-SQL persistence services
- Unit testing and automated QA, including browser based testing.
- Mainstream development development, integration and deployment tooling (code editors, SCM, CI/CD etc).
- Experience implementing typical SaaS services used in high-quality web apps (logging/observability, SSO etc).
- Extensive experience of cloud platforms
