Job Details
We have an opportunity to work as an IT Engineer/Desktop Engineer, refurbishing IT hardware by replacing RAM and Hard Drives and then distributing it to sites in and around Carlisle. A company vehicle is provided so you must have a valid driving licence.
In accordance with Covid-19 health and safety measures, this is a site based IT Engineer/Desktop Engineer role, so strong communication and excellent customer service skills are required. This role will suit either an experienced engineer or a junior engineer/entry level engineer with a great attitude and a desire to gain commercial experience.
Full training and instructions will be provided.
Requirements
Basic IT knowledge
Ability to refurbish laptop and desktop devices
Willingness to do the less glamourous tasks of IT, ie lifting/shifting
Excellent customer facing skills
Valid driving licence
Personal Characteristics
Positive attitude, calm under pressure, great work ethic, strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
