Description
Harris global are currently recruiting for a Infrastructure/System administrator - Must be SC Cleared
Will be responsible for configuring and assembling equipment used in the operation along with being an active part of the tape processing team.
These activities will include:
- Setting up Servers, tape drives and networking equipment
- Liaising with Datacentre management to ensure operations fit within centre requirements.
- Maintaining T10k-D and LTO8 tape drives
- Monitoring system performance
- Arranging equipment repairs and replacements as required
- Maintaining and monitoring the performance of infrastructure including the Servers and networking equipment
- Working as part of the team in tape processing
- Receiving tapes from customer
- Logging receipt of tape inventory
- Loading tapes into tape drives
- Basic troubleshooting on tape processing issues as they arise
Highly desirable: Linux administration, VMware, AWS, Azure, CCNA
Must be SC Cleared
