UK Sustainability & Environment, Environmental Regulations Manager.

Our client is a global consulting company that have been engaged on a sustainability and environmental (EMS) program.

If you are a contractor within this the EMS space and coming available, this project will last until 2022.

Job Description

The candidate will support the UK Sustainability & Environment National Representative and the GSR (Regulatory intelligence and services) department in delivering these activities: - analysis of regulations and trends in the UK, including use and review of tools and monitoring services contracted, gathering of data required to ensure compliance - analysis of applicability of regulations, and preparation of roadmap to compliance and prepare any required information to support any advocacy to be performed with local and national relevant authorities (DEFRA, HSE, BEIS, DfT, etc)

Preparation of briefs, presentations and communication of regulatory/trends inputs in the UK, with local teams and support reviews with the central GSR team - coordination of interfaces internal stakeholders as required (Facilities management, Environment, Health and Safety, department - Monitoring, consolidating and reporting of Risk and Opportunities in the UK to feed the Sustainability & Environment Risks & Opps picture.

Skills Needed for this role:

1. excellent understanding of UK Sustainability & Environment regulatory system and more globally S&E issues and how the regulatory system operates in practice

2. Must have a good understanding of the Airbus systems and procedures

3. Demonstrate ability to monitor, assess, advocate for regulatory evolutions for the UK/EU and support compliance roadmap,

4. Must have working knowledge of Environmental Management Systems, ISO 14001 certification and related sustainability management systems

5. Must have good communications skills, fluent in English

6. Master MS Access; Excel; Word; Gsuite advanced functionalities

Location Filton, Bristol + home working (occasional trip to Broughton)

Duration of assignment Sept - Dec 2021 (with phase 2 to continue in 2022)

Basic security clearance
