Description

We are recruiting for an AWS Developer for an initial 6 month contract with a Consultancy and their end-client in the public sector. You will be working with their end-client at their Centre of Excellence and be working on their Business Process Management (BPM) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). This role will be fully remote for the moment but will require 2 days onsite working on the near future. For this role you will need to be eligible for SC Clearance

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and implement system of recording and underlying data models using appropriate AWS services along with CRUD APIs to manage the interaction with IBM BAW
  • Developing/specifying and developing any Middleware services which will support the delivery of business process applications
  • Identifying and defining integration points between IBM BAW, AWS and the wider ONS architecture and working with technical/solution architects to define and develop these integrations

Experience Required:

  • Specifying, designing and development data models and systems of record in an appropriate AWS database technology
  • Development experience in AWS writing REST APIs which are required to support the automation work, including exposing these through the relevant gateway
  • Development experience in specifying and developing Middleware services
  • Experience of working with a workflow/business process management technology.
  • Ideally experience in; Python, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, ETL, Postgres, IAM (policies, roles, user groups etc.), Alembic
  • Must be expert in the design and development of database structures, and the supporting CRUD APIs
  • Experience of working with a workflow management toolset such as IBM BAW, Pega, etc.
