£35.05 an hour PAYE or £45.01 an hour Umbrella (Inside IR35)

Initially 12-month contract
Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a large engineering company who operate within the defence sector and are currently seeking an experienced Project Planning Professional to work on site in Barrow.
Job Description
*As Senior Planning Professional you will be responsible for, Monitoring and Control, and developing and maintaining the schedule for a specific programme, project or work package.
*This role will provide you with the opportunity to put your planning & scheduling expertise to use on large scale, complex engineering projects, increasing your experience and developing skills that will further enhance your career.
Your main responsibilities as a Senior Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional will involve:
*Developing high-quality, integrated schedules from a defined scope of work in Primavera P6.
*Working with Control Account Managers/Project Managers to ensure a range of stakeholders are involved in the development and approval of baseline schedules.
*Tracking progress against the project schedule and providing concise management information to support project decision making.
*Maintaining the quality of schedule data to a standard that enables related business processes and reporting (earned value management, estimate at completion).
*Providing planning and scheduling expertise in support of a project team or wider programme, sharing knowledge with and supporting less experienced members of the team.
Essential skills
*Prior planning experience in a complex project environment
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable skills:
*Wider project controls experience (earned value management, risk management)
*Experience across the project life cycle (design, procurement, build, commissioning)
