RAN Design Implementation Specialist
Flint is currently looking for a RAN Design Implementation specialist to work for a leading telco provider.
Must-Have
- Background in RAN site design in an operator or small work contractor
- Strong experience managing relationships with other teams both internal and external to ensure their activities align with the design guidance
- Proven background in reviewing technical documentation and providing relevant feedback on its suitability for wider use
- Proven ability to manage own time and workload
- High-level view of generic RAN hardware, RAN backhaul technologies
- Strong understanding of constraints in a mobile network when proving coverage solutions and supporting demand through capacity
Nice to Have
- Existing knowledge of mobile telco site designs being deployed in the last 12 months
- Understanding of Nokia or Ericsson RAN hardware solutions
- Understanding of challenges in deploying outdoor small cells
- Understanding of ICNIRP regulations and how these affect mobile operators
- Understanding of the team structure and processes related to delivering and maintaining the RAN network
- Knowledge of industry best practice methodologies for analysing, defining and documenting the link between input business requirements and output technical solutions.
Location, Bristol or Birmingham. At this time there is also remote available.
Start, target 1st December 21 or sooner, 3-month rolling contract.
