Desktop Support Engineer - £125 - £150 per Day - 6 Month Contract - MULTIPLE LOCATIONS (field based)
One of my key clients are currently seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join their team on a contract basis for a large scale roll out project.
Due to the role being field based across multiple sites a full driving license will be essential for this role.
Desktop Support Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure the efficient and effective running of the software, hardware, network infrastructure and telecommunications on site.
- To provide Technical support to requests for users for all PC hardware, Software
- To carry out installation, general maintenance and upgrade support for PC's, Printers and Laptops etc
- To work to all given deadlines and ensure all tasks are completed professionally and on time.
- To proactively manage the potential IT issues on site.
- To maintain the current operating systems and interfaces on site and ensure all are kept up to date.
- To work alongside and in conjunction with site requirements on both a day to day and project led basis.
- To guide internal customers through any IT issues and to proactively look to enhance the current site systems/procedures/working practices.
