BMC Truesight Consultant (TSOM)
Fusion, the UK's largest BMC Remedy partner and leading BSM solutions partner is looking for an experienced BMC Truesight Consultant to work with us on a contract basis.
The TrueSight Consultant will provide subject matter expertise on the BMC TrueSight and Entuity in support of enterprise wide rollouts covering areas including performance management, event management, and capacity planning.
Key responsibilities will be the ongoing maintenance and configuration of the BMC TrueSight tool suite, Entuity network monitoring, and web monitoring tools. Also, ongoing service improvements to ensure customers achieve the best possible usage of the tools.
The Consultant will need to perform the installation of the new versions of the Apache and Java software and Certificates in non-Production and Production Servers.
Required Skills:
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent customer facing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum of 3 years' experience in performance, event, and capacity management in the BMC product set
Experience with threshold management
Experience developing, configuring and integrating BMC Event Manager rules and policies
Experience with KM configuration
Experience configuring web monitoring
Very familiar with PatrolAgent processes
Experience with technologies that work with BMC TrueSight including: Oracle, SQL Server, Exchange, MAPI, POP3, SMTP, MIBs, SNMP, network devices, Windows, Unix/Linux, SANs, TCP/IP, WMI, WBEM
Candidates with Legacy knowledge of PATROL Central, the PATROL Developer Console, BMC Distribution Server, and BMC Performance Assurance, will get added advantage
