Solution Architect/Change Coordinator - Remote (Client based in Luxembourg) - Long term contract
One of our important clients is looking for a Solution Architect/Change Coordinator to design custom and integrated solutions and to coordinate their implementation. This is a 12 months + contract. Position is Remote and the day rate is negotiable.
Your Mission:
You will be part of a talented and multilingual team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security .
As a Solution architect/Change coordinator your responsibilities will be:
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs, evaluate the possibilities that can be offered and propose technical solutions;
- Design multi-technologies solutions based on solutions provided by technical architects and validate them with the customer;
- Advise the customers on possible solutions and technologies
- Implement non-standard Request for Change;
- Follow up requests in the Logging systems;
- Take ownership of the changes and follow up the status on behalf of the user and communicate progress in a timely manner;
- Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles;
- Writing/Updating documentation;
- Contribute to the team's knowledge base;
- Contribute to customer service improvement.
Your Profile:
- A background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis.
- aptitude for working with applications/systems to undertake analysis, diagnosis and resolution of customer's needs, which may range from straightforward to technically very complicated.

- Ability to produce documentation in a clear and concise manner
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential. Any other European language is a plus
Your knowledge/experience:
A good knowledge in most of the following domains is necessary:
- Global IT architecture understanding (Web, 3-Tier, Client Server, Cloud)
- ITSM Tools ( SMT, BMC Atrium, Patrol, Proactive Net );
- Oracle and MySQL databases;
- WebLogic, ColdFusion, Tomcat
- Apache Web Server
- BI
- SAN, NAS and S3 Storage
- Operating system (Linux, windows);
- Network understanding (VLAN, DNS, DMZ, Reverse Proxy, Firewall).
- Data Center activities
- Basic Cloud experience, preferably in AWS
