Pay Rate to Candidate: £480 UMB/£357 PAYE
We are currently looking for a experience Network Engineer. It will be working for the Ministry of Defence so as minimum an active SC clearance is required. We are looking for people that are DV eligible so this job is only open to sole British nationals due to the UK government clearance level.
Minimum Requirement:
- Either Cisco Certified DevNet Professional certification or CCNP Enterprise certification (essential)
- At least 3 years of experience supporting complex campus area networks (CAN) and wide area networks (WAN) based on IP cryptography (essential)
- SC clearance and the willingness to obtain DV clearance (essential)
- Experience with the configuration of SDN controllers and SD-WAN controllers (essential)
- The experience of using Ansible to automate query or configuration of network devices in a production environment
- Experience with Linux OS and its command line interface, network logging and analysis tools - R Syslog and the interpretation and parsing of logs in particular
- Familiar with Splunk as a network support enhancer - possess the ability to search and navigate as well as create reports, alerts and dashboards
