Description
Required for a 12 month contract, a SAP MDG consultant, with experience in Data Information and Management to join a team working on a particularly large SAP installation.
Responsibilities
The primary tasks inthe area of Data Foundation are:
- Work with execution of master data vision and strategy; processes and tools.
- Drive continuous improvement of data governance and data maintenance processes across the organization.
- Suggest MDG capabilities that brings the most business benefits for the organization
- Mapping of Config data from source system to MDG system/environment
- Co-ordinate MDG Teams for the execution of activities and deliverables.
- Co-ordinate and guide Material Master POs and associated SME's
- Perform Data Quality setup, Duplicate Check, and other required validation to Migrate existing master data into MDG
- Provide advice and support for the definition of Data Standards across Master Data Objects
- Support the development and implementation of MDG User access requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of MDG interfaces
- Co-ordinate across Legacy system to identify impacts and support development of solutions.
- Provide input for the planning of the MDG implementation
Skills
- 10+ years' of techno-functional experience in applications such as SAP Data Management, SAP Master Data Governance (MDG),
- Experience in MDG configuration of Business Partner/Customer/Vendor/Financial Objects/Material required and the ability to advise on the best practices in SAP MDG solution stack
- Experience in SAP Data Services (BODS) and SAP Information Steward is a plus
- Strong grasp on data/process modelling, UI Design, derivations, Data Quality, duplicate data checks, and Rule-based Workflow (BRF PLUS) required
- Strong knowledge of ABAP Object-Oriented Programming, Master Data Governance (MDG), ABAP Floor Plan Manager (FPM), ABAP Web Dynpro, ABAP Workflow
- In-depth exposure to SAP MDG applications- Financials, Supplier, Customer, Material
- Strong knowledge on the configuration of MDG applications
- Hands-on experience Data replication techniques, MDG error handling experience. Validations and derivations
- Worked on integration of MDG with other components of the SAP enterprise information management stack and with the external world
- Ability to explore, expose and advise on best-in-class practices in SAP EIM/MDG solution stack
- Master Data Governance; Develop and implement Enterprise Master data solutions in SAP MDG
- Extension of standard master, Custom data model definition, UI configurations & Workflow configuration and extension
