Description
Harvey Nash is now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Service Desk Analyst for a contract of five months initially. The client is based in Glasgow, however the role will be remote.
Working for a public sector client, the role calls for an induvial who has previously worked within a customer service environment and is able to work effectively within a complex and dynamically changing team.
Other responsibilities can include:
- Responding to support enquiries in a timely, courteous and helpful manner
- Investigating reported technical issues
- Escalating significant issues to the Support Team lead and or Delivery teams
- Working with other team members to establish common themes with enquiries and making suggestions for how the product(s) can be improved to reduce support enquires.
Essential Criteria:
- Basic IT Training such as ECDL/NVQ or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- IT Literacy
- Experience in MS Office Packages
- Able to prioritise own workload and work to deadlines
- Ability to use initiative
