Description

Harvey Nash is now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Service Desk Analyst for a contract of five months initially. The client is based in Glasgow, however the role will be remote.

Working for a public sector client, the role calls for an induvial who has previously worked within a customer service environment and is able to work effectively within a complex and dynamically changing team.

Other responsibilities can include:

  • Responding to support enquiries in a timely, courteous and helpful manner
  • Investigating reported technical issues
  • Escalating significant issues to the Support Team lead and or Delivery teams
  • Working with other team members to establish common themes with enquiries and making suggestions for how the product(s) can be improved to reduce support enquires.

Essential Criteria:

  • Basic IT Training such as ECDL/NVQ or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • IT Literacy
  • Experience in MS Office Packages
  • Able to prioritise own workload and work to deadlines
  • Ability to use initiative
