Cloud Engineer - Senior/Lead

12 Month Contract - Inside IR35

Our client has a requirement for a technical lead within the platform engineering team. To lead a small team of cloud engineers who are responsible for the delivery of the firms strategic hybrid cloud technical platform.
The primary function of the team is to work with architects and key third parties to deliver a previously approved roadmap of specific technology.
Key skills:
- Proven experience in managing and motivating semi-autonomous teams in an agile way.
- Previous experience as a Lead Developer or Cloud Engineer managing a team to deploy and continuously deliver and enhance applications leveraging Azure DevOps for CI/CD practices.
- Previous experience of deploying cloud solutions as Infrastructure as Code using ARM templates.
- Proven experience of deploying Integrations technology such as RabbitMQ, nServicebus, Azure API Management and Azure Service Bus.
- Experience in deploying Azure Web Apps, Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
- Delivery and design experience of data services such as Dataverse, Azure Synapse, Data Gateway, Data Warehouse and integration with Azure ML and Cognitive Services.
- Experience in deploying and leveraging both SQL, Graph and Document Database technology such as Mongo and Neo4J.
- Thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform (Apps, BI, Automate, Virtual Agents) and integrating on-premise data with the Power Platform.
