Description
Our client are looking to recruit an Infrastructure Architect, initially 3 months to work in the infrastructure workstream of a larger ongoing migration project to start ASAP. This will be part of a wider programme of work therefore extension is likely.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Essentials:
Experience of on-premise and cloud infrastructures in a hybrid environment
Deep knowledge of Enterprise Networking (WAN/LAN/Routing etc)
Ability to create and manage architecture deliverables and artefacts
Working knowledge of VMWare or other virtualisation software
Experience of designing recovery and backup solutions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and keeping abreast of the latest technology
Strong communicator, able to confidently present designs and ideas at all levels
Desirables:
Experience of Kubernetes
Worked in a highly regulated environment
Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services
This role is OUTSIDE IR35 and will be predominantly remote with the need to be in Manchester a few days per week for the first 6-8 weeks then fully remote after, and to start ASAP, please send your CV for immediate consideration.
