Our client is looking for a System Configuration Analyst to join their busy as ever and vibrant company on a initial 5 month contract to work on a Workforce Management tool configuration. The successful System Configuration Analyst will have to have experience of working on HR or Payroll Systems.
This contract is inside of IR35.
Key Responsibilities as a System Configuration Analyst:
* You will have the ability to translate business needs into clear change instruction to enable the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of the Infor WFM application changes
* General system maintenance eg, removal of redundant configuration.
* Co-ordinate backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
* Monitoring of system performance.
* Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the product life cycle.
* Identify and escalate any risks and issues where appropriate.
* Cross training/knowledge share across the in-house System Administration function
Experience & Qualifications needed to be a successful System Configuration Analyst:
* Experience of working with complex IT systems and/or experience of business operations.
* Knowledge of scoping, defining and implementing business requirements.
* Experience in system administration, database or network administration experience.
* Workforce Management application experience.
* Experience of key interlinking system such as payroll, HR and time clocks.
* Certifications in System administration and IT in Microsoft, or other network related fields are desired.
* Working knowledge of VMWare, or equivalent.
* Experience and strong knowledge of networking and systems software, hardware, and networking protocols.
* Experience with Scripting and automation tools.
* Experience of IT Test Process, development and delivery.
* A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy
