Description
A rapidly growing scale-up who have trebled headcount through the pandemic have urgent need of strong Senior Platform Engineers for excellent remote opportunities, on a contract, inside IR35 basis at circa £600 - £800 per day.
You should have strong Platform Engineering and/or DevOps Engineering experience. Strong experience and skills with GCP, Terraform and ideally Hashicorp Sentinel.
Key skills and experience for these roles include;
- Strong Experience with GCP
- Strong experience and skills with Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code
- Strong CI/CD experience - such as Gitlab, Circle CI, Jenkins etc
- Strong experience of working with Linux, ideally on RedHat
- Experience with Hashicorp Sentinel for Policy-as-Code highly proffered
Other experience that would also be useful includes;
- A background in Infrastructure Engineering and System Administration
- Configuration Management, Ansible is preferred, also Chef, Puppet, Salt etc
- Container Orchestration, GKE is preferred, also EKS or AKS or Docker
- Scripting/Software Engineering - ideally with Python but also GoLang, Java, Ruby or C#
