Server Team Application Pool Team Lead Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the application pool (current 7 persons) and the 24*7 availability of all company applications.
- Managing the application pool on following level(s)
- People management
- Resource management
- Planning and organization
- Escalation management
- Follow up op Service Level Agreements
- Contract mgt (follow up of external service contract)
- Make sure that applications are running on appropriate infrastructure according to the criticality (High available or not, disaster Recovery plan in place ), supported and secured versions
- Installation and evolution of the applications, change and problem management of the applications, Incident management, 24*7 duty service for critical applications, security of the applications + data protection
Requirements:
- Must have a very broad knowledge and experience regarding application management on Windows and Linux Servers.
- Must have a deep knowledge about Windows Server, Linux, MS Azure
- Experience with MS SQL, IIS, Mongodb (is a plus)
- Must have a very broad IT knowledge covering infrastructure domains (networking, security)
- Good understanding of DevOps, Loadbalancing, Application Firewalling.
- Must have at least 5 years' experience as Team Lead of a technical team in comparable companies (min 500 users) and business critical environments.
- Languages: French/Dutch (one of both has to be native/fluent, second one has to be very good), English, German (is a plus).
