Our direct, Fortune 100 client is looking for a REMOTE Lead DevOps Engineer to work closely with application delivery teams and other enterprise teams to enable a DevOps culture and to continue to advance Continuous Delivery capabilities. Your focus will be in the areas of advocating and improving Developer Experience, automating CI/CD Pipelines and underlying toolchains, and enabling application delivery teams to achieve agility. In this role, you'll influence the culture and strategic direction of DevOps adoption throughout the organization, leading our client towards fully automated, cloud-first application deployments. You'll also have the opportunity to explore/introduce new tools, techniques, and practices into the organization to maximize business value and agility.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Work closely with application teams to advise on CD practices and assist in implementing cloud ready and cloud native solutions
- Identify repeat issues/roadblock and collaborate with other organizations to "pave the road" for the enterprise
- Advance Pipeline as Code capabilities and make it easy to consume by application teams in a self-service manner
- Contribute to training and enabling efforts to make application teams self-sufficient (eg enterprise knowledgebase with patterns and practices, communities of practices etc.)

Required:
- Experience designing and implementing Continuous Delivery architectural patterns and cloud (AWS, Azure) infrastructure solutions
- Experience in source code management, continuous integration, and automated deployment and management using tools like GIT, Azure DevOps, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, OpenShift/Kubernetes/Docker, Terraform, and Puppet
- Experience in multiple Scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Go, Python, or similar languages
