Senior Frontend Developer (React/TypeScript) | E-commerce | January/February 2022 | O/S IR35 ContractWe're currently looking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced frontend developer with profound experience across React/Redux & TypeScript to partner on an initial 6-month project with one of our most exciting and fastly growing clients, operating in the ever-growing field of E-Commerce.
You'd focus on a merchant configuration & also the dashboard of the micro-application too which is in need of some architectural improvement as the team move features out towards their individual micro-frontends. It's fair to say that this project is vital to the business and its success in establishing the product to the demands of future markets.
Project Details
- Position: Senior Frontend Developer
- Location: 4 days Remote, Ideally 1 day per week in their London office
- Tech Stack: (JS), React, Redux, TypeScript, Cypress (For testing), AWS for cloud
- Start Date: > (Flexible up to Feb)
- Initial Contract Length: 6 Months
- IR35 Status: Outside legislation
Core Responsibilities Will Include
- Constructing the merchant configuration to maximise solutions that the businesses clients can choose from
- Championing and improving test coverage for user experience using Cypress
- Re-structuring a dashboard monolith, breaking this down into micro-frontends
- Working within a bespoke, motivated multi-functional team to achieve the best results
- Bringing your own ideas on continuous improvement to the table and implementing them within the project
- Effectively communicating with stakeholders to ensure the success of the project and appeal to users
- Working with cutting edge tools such as React, TypeScript & Redux-Saga
What makes you the right fit?
- You have extensive experience directly developing successful applications with React & TypeScript and have used this consistently within projects/positions for quite some time
- You have experience in constructing complex web applications with micro-frontends
- You are an advocate for TDD & have extensive experience across integration testing libraries such as Cypress/Jest
- You have previous experience working within driven, forward-thinking development teams
- You have acted as a senior developer within projects and have the expertise to help really power a product to its next level
- You have effective and flexible English communication skills
