On behalf of our client, an international financial service provider located in Prague, we are looking for an external resource with skills and abilities as stated below:
Risk IT Functional Analyst (f/m/x) financial area Prague - P0308
The Business Consultant analyzes business processes and identifies alternatives, providing detailed advice and conducts advanced modelling activities for change programs.
Part of a team that will focus on the development of new service-based functionality to server the customers' needs. Besides the migration and harmonization of existing functionality out of systems.
The team is also working on a so called Fast Track to enable an easier and lightweight onboarding of new products.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Find elegant solutions to hard problems at the intersection of risk business and IT by analysing business requirements and derive software requirements
- Communicate ideas clearly and act as a liaison between business and IT teams
- Specify design for complex IT and software architecture and discuss it with the analyst community and the software developer team
- Provide advice on expected functionality to the test team
Required skills and qualifications:
- Analytical mindset and interest in information technology and financial markets
- A degree in a business subject, a technical/quantitative subject (Computer Science, Math/Physics, Engineering, ) or equivalent experience
- Experience in IT business analysis
- Working proficiency and communication skills in English
- Motivation to work in a cross functional team within an agile working style
Optional skills:
- Knowledge of financial markets (bonds, equities, interest rate swaps, futures, options)
- Insight into quantitative risk management
- Basic understanding of Python

- Starting date: ASAP
- Initial contract duration: till end of December 2022
- Degree of employment: Full-time
- Location: Prague
- This position can be done 80% remotely.
