Infrastructure Architect
An opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join a large Financial Sector organisation in Edinburgh.
You will be:
- Iterative creating infrastructure design documentation that informs & guides project delivery
- Addressing evolving business and technology requirements while working closely with key stakeholders - product owners, solution architects, domain architects, engineers, project managers, 3rd parties - to shape solutions, prototype ideas and structure project delivery
- Continually developing your knowledge of the cloud, on-premise and SaaS platforms that make up our technology environment
Essential skills:
- Extensive infrastructure architecture and design experience
- Able to work under broad direction with minimum supervision and be accountable for meeting allocated management objectives
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Experience of designing technology solutions in a complex, multi-platform environment - AWS, Azure, VMWare would be ideal
- Experience of large-scale Data Centre Migration delivery
- Ability to own the iterative delivery of design artefacts that define architecturally compliant solutions to business problems as requirements evolve
- Industry recognised architecture certifications eg AWS, Azure, VMWare, TOGAF
